Dryad is an independent, non-profit, general-purpose repository for research data underlying scholarly publications. Erin has an undergraduate degree in Biology, and an MS in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She works with a small team of curators to archive data in a wide variety of formats and disciplines, most commonly data from the life sciences and biomedical sciences. She is interested in issues surrounding open scholarship, data reusability, and data citation, as well as the development of shared resources and standards that will assist researchers and data curators.
