Kernik assists researchers to document and organize spatial data submitted to the Data Repository for the University of Minnesota (DRUM). She provides support for spatial digital humanities projects as part of the Digital, Arts, Sciences and Humanities program (DASH). She’s also part of the Big Ten Academic Alliance Geospatial Data Project, a multi-institution collaboration improving access to scanned historical maps and geospatial data resources.
