The Data Curation Network hosts an annual All Hands Meeting– a combination business meeting, networking event, and community development opportunity that all DCN Members are invited to attend.
The 5th DCN All Hands Meeting will take place June 28-30. It will be held as a virtual event due to the global COVID pandemic.
Day 1, AHM Year 5: Business Meeting
This year’s business meeting will include several discussions, activities, and presentations, including:
- Introducing new members
- Review of proposed changes to the Governance Model
- An opportunity to provide feedback on the DCN and activities for year five (!!)
- Presentations from members of the DCN Advisory Board
Day 2, AHM Year 5: Education and Professional Development
On Day 2, we’ll focus on peer-comparisons: what can we learn from one another? After a workshop on Human Participant Data Essentials, we’ll discuss:
- Metrics and reporting
- Repository implementations
- Education as outreach
Day 3, AHM Year 5: Community and Research Sharing
We’ll end our annual meeting with updates from special interest groups, dive into breakout groups for discussion, and end with a series of lightning talks from DCN members.
